Authorities in Miami Gardens, Florida, are investigating a shooting that occurred during a party at a house rented thru Airbnb, which left two people dead, including a teenager, and at least one other person injured, police sources reported.
According to the Miami Gardens Police Department, the incident occurred around 12:45 a.m., when officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the area of NW 175th Street and 19th Avenue.
Three people were injured in the armed attack
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located three individuals with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, while the other two were airlifted by helicopter for emergency medical care due to the severity of their injuries.
Hours later, the police confirmed that two of the victims had died, one of them a minor, which has sparked outrage among the local community.
Armed men stormed the party and opened fire
According to initial reports, a private party was being held at the residence when three hooded men wearing balaclavas forced their way into the property and began firing indiscriminately at the attendees.
After the attack, the suspects fled the scene before the authorities arrived. So far, no arrests have been reported, and the attackers remain at large.

Miami Gardens Police are conducting a search operation
The Miami Gardens Police Department stated that an active search operation is underway to locate those responsible for the shooting. Additionally, security camera footage, witness testimonies, and ballistic evidence are being collected to determine the motive for the attack.
Authorities have not reported whether the incident was related to targeted violence, prior disputes, or if it was a random attack during the event.
