Cruises in Miami offer a special experience for the 2026 World Cup

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is also part of the experience for those who choose a cruise for their vacation. From Miami, the major cruise lines have adapted their ships so that passengers can enjoy every match even while the ship is on the high seas.

The offering goes far beyond simply installing screens. The cruise lines have set up spaces dedicated to the tournament, themed activities, and technology that ensures a steady signal throughout the entire voyage. In this way, the soccer atmosphere remains present from the moment of boarding until the last day of the trip.

Miami cruise lines turn their ships into floating stadiums

Major cruise lines have equipped cabins, bars, theaters, and common areas with thousands of televisions to broadcast the tournament’s matches. The connection relies on the Starlink satellite network, whose coverage ensures a more stable signal while at sea.

Another aspect requiring special planning is the supply of bars and restaurants, as demand increases during the most anticipated matches.

MSC is part of this initiative, though it is not the only company operating out of the Port of Miami. Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Norwegian have also prepared their fleets to offer an experience tailored to the World Cup schedule. Royal Caribbean, in addition, chose to guarantee the tournament’s broadcast through an agreement with Sport 24.

Miami is also one of the U.S. host cities for the 2026 World Cup and will host, among other matches, the third-place game. While Hard Rock Stadium brings together thousands of fans, the port keeps that same passion alive aboard the cruise ships that depart daily for various destinations in the Caribbean.
